Q: What is an OCT?

Q: When do auditions start?
A: December 15!

Q: What mediums are allowed?
A: Comics/ Flash comics /Animations! The only thing we will not accept is written entries. We will allow people to have a writer/artist partnership, thought.

Q: Can I donate a prize?
A: Please do! Send a note to the group with details of what you'd like to donate and we'll be happy to add it to the list!

Q: What is the font used for the logo called?
A: Husky Stash!

Q: Does PG-13 mean I can't use words like "fuck" or "shit", or is that cool?
A: You can, just use them wisely, and preferably not too often.

About the Story and the OCT

About the setting

Q: Is this setting steampunk-themed?
A: Yes, though we are not limiting you to that! Dieselpunk is ok too!

Q: Cool! Does that mean my character can be a mutant alien tiger from the 31st century?
A: Hold it right there, sport! While we are not against you having as many mutant alien tigers as you want, we would like to follow a theme, ya know! That means, your character cannot be sporting any kind of technology beyond that seen up to 1945! (That is, the end of WW-II!). So if you can work your mutant alien tiger around that, welcome aboard, champ!

Q: Is there magic?
A: Yes! This is a world where magic and technology are mixed together!

Q: Is there land below the fortress?
A: Yes. There is a main town, Korlanis, that will be present at all times that is just below it. The Skyfortress never goes above the clouds.

Q: Would one be able to accomplish both the King's AND the Archivum's goals? Like, changing it's course, and THEN securing it for the Archivum?
A: Yes, that would be fine if you so choose.

About the Airships

Q: What kind of transportation are we allowed?
A: Any, as long as if flies and can be maintained by 1-2 people.

Q: How big can our airships be?
A: Small enough to be worked by 1-2 characters. Try not to go overboard on details.

Q: Can we have a crew?
A: No. Your OCs should be the only ones maintaining the ship.

Q: Can the airships have weapons?
A: Sure! Just don't make it overpowered.

Q: Are airships required?
A: Not necessarily, but some form of aerial transportation is required.

Q: So can it be a flying car?
A: Like this one? Sure, why not. Just remember: 1945 technology and before.

About the Characters

Q: Can my character have the ability to fly?
A: Yes but that is going to count as your transportation and will limit your character to that.

Q: Are we allowed to have dragons on our teams?
A: Yes! As long as they are no bigger than 65 feet for wingspan and 32 feet for height.

Q: Will they count as a character?
A: As long as they do not speak or act on their own, no.

Q: Does a split personality count as a second character?
A: Yes.

Q: Are pets allowed?
A: Yes as long as they just that: pets.

Q: How does my character find out about the Skyfortress?
A: Up to you! They can hear a rumor about it, or just happen to be walking by and see it, or being from a city that was a victim of the Skyfortress before Korlanis, or they can receive an invitation from Nissa Estalise herself!

Q: Do my OCs have to fight their opponents to win the round? Can't they just team up?
A: Why not! It is up to how you want to handle your rounds!

Q: If one of my characters can transform into a dragon, but rarely does, would I also be able to add a character that serves as their mode of transportation?
A: Yes, as long as you don't use both frequently. In this case, one would be the main mode of transportation and the other used mainly as a reserve.

Q: Do our characters have to originate from the universe of The Sky Fortress or can they be from an alternate universe/dimension/timeline?
A: They can be from alternate universes/dimensions/timelines.

Q: What about robots?
A: As long as they match the tech of the world, they are fine.
